I wanted to try out cm9 today (came from backside rom) I backed up did a fresh new install wiped every thing did a factory reset formated every thing that needs to be formated (boot system data cache) installed it and gapps but it freezes on me every 5 min I was woundering if I skiped a step or...

Umm I was wondering if some one could help me I'm some what a.noob I flashed every thing and I'm running on bb2.4 but idk if I'm using the newest kernel ... I downloaded it to and it kinda pizzled me that it didn't end in. Zip so I compressed it and then flashed it but then I think it said error...

its there a way that u can do step 3 without a computer ... Its cause i dont have acces to one ... Lol

soooo all i have to do is download gingerbread to the root of my sd then dl a file manager from the market then simplie run gingerbread with the file manager and thats it its rooted??

what recovery install method would u recomend i know theres alot of your choices...
