Ok, I will let you know how that goes. Thanks for the help :) ETA: Cleared cache/data.. the calendar above contacts synced right away. google calendar didn't at first but now shows it has. After I restarted the phone it now shows as my old phones does :) Thank you Again

B.Diddy, no i don't have a ton of events on any given day. I am looking under the settings, I have two, 1 at the top it's says calendar and just sync again after i toggled off then back on. Further down about 6 down for me, it says google calendar, toggled it off and back on and shows the time...

So on my previous phones (moto's) I can look as far back as 2017 on google calendar for events and so forth. On my 4a (4g) got in Dec 20' once I go to say 2019 and older I see nothing. I can see things are being synced. Am I missing something?

Would you care to show how it fits in the touch 4? I have the 5 (got it before the 4g version) and I see how the 5 grabs the vol down buttom.

Got the update on Sat for the 4a, was 7.00 mb in size

I just clear storage/cache and the block message went away and now the text messages come thru! Thank you so much for the help :)

I go to the message app. Click on the contact then the three dots to details then notifications and that is where i see the blocked message

nothing would happen when I seen the blocking message. but I think it was due to notifications being turned off.. But I don't get email notices, texts messages show up but without a sound or notice. It seems like something simple I am missing

It is possible that I did that. How can I correct it?

Thanks, another thing I have noticed. "at your request android is blocking this category of notifications from appearing on this device"... I appreciate your assistance B.Diddy :)

Thanks! I see where it will say xx notifications per day, any way to change that? or in google message it would have a contact name and say default settings?
