Seems like every few days I get a list of apps needing updating even if they were just updated recently. I find it hard to believe developers are updating apps that frequently and wonder if the updates are serving a different purpose. Maybe they just want to know you're still a user of the app...

in an area without cell service but have a strong WiFi connection. My Ipad connects easily to the WiFi; however, the HTC One won't connect. Similarly, my wife's S4 won't connect either. Does ATT require a network connection before the phone will connect to WiFi?

Should fast boot be on or off for the ring to silence. Also, If I reset the phone won't I lose all the apps and stuff?

Seems no matter how hard I try, I can't silence the ringtone. Tried two apps as well as setting silence mode in the settings and pressing the volume down key until it says silence. Phone still rings. Anyone else have this problem? Any solutions?
