I had this same problem with my s4 and now again with my s5. I have a Pioneer head unit w/ BT. The fix for this for me has been distance. If I remote start my car and my phone is not within 25 feet of the car I have to cycle the BT off than back on in my s5. If I am within 25 feet the car...
