Well me and everyone that I know that has a nexus isn't having MMS issues. Nor is it a widely reported issue. I do agree that Google sucks at MMS generally but his issue is definitely a settings issue. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Bro, hot spotting is the issue. That is well known to slaughter a phones battery. Not just in a battery draining sense but actually physically messes up the battery. I highly recommend that you not hotspot on your phone - that should be the last resort. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Do you have MMS enabled? Is data enabled? Because MMS on android phones can't go through unless LTE is enabled. If so, there still seems like there's an issue with the APN settings. Can you restore it to default? (I'm not on the nexus right now so I can't tell.) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
