For me I turn it off by opening camera, tapping settings (the gear), and tapping the option to turn off "review pics/videos". If this helped you let me know! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk

Are you hovering your hand above the screen or actually touching the screen with your palm? I found I had to actually make contact with the screen for it to work for me when playing back a video. Haven't tried the alarm/call silencing feature. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk

I also get the message but thought it was because I popped open the case to install a new SD card. Apparently not! I opened the case up again, then resealed it making sure every crack and crevice was secure. Still got the message after powering the device on again. Nice to hear I'm not alone...
