I've only had one major update since release. S Health could be improved, S Voice needs a major overhaul, the music app needs updating amongst others things. Everything works OK but it could be better. The watch has been out for coming up to a year and I would have expected more improvements...

Love this watch but Samsung have been pretty pathetic when it comes to updating the watch. Many apps also could do with updates. I came from a pebble watch and updates were regular and improved the watch massively over time. Samsung really need to sort this out

The metal band I have reduces BT connectivity. Not majorly so but the distance I can be away from the phone definitely reduces.

The SLG straps look beautiful but not many stockists in the UK. I really want one of the wax canvas straps. Do the SLG straps have quick release pins?

Another thing that loads of reviews said was the watch was too big. That nearly put me off and it's absolute rubbish. The watch is not some huge puck. All I can say is tech reviewers must have tiny wrists.

Yep when tethered to the phone it is far more accurate. Standalone was hit and miss for me but overall mostly accurate. I did experience cutting corners and on occasion lost tracking. I decided to take my phone with me on runs now but not only for that reason. When running I want to access...

Tried the Spotify app on my gear and it's really poor. There's no way of controlling volume from your watch! Also no offline mode. Had to cancel and will continue with Google play via the stock app.

Have you got the android wear app installed on your phone. You need that to be able to interact with hangouts messages (I don't know why, had to do the same on pebble)

I have the same issue. Some days it is worse than others. I do not know if it is definitely the gear app but the battery drain issues have only happened recently after I bought my gear s3.

That's music already downloaded to the watch. I reckon you could easily get 4 hrs of fitness tracking and music before your battery starts to get low. Bear in mind if not listening to music then battery life will be even longer

For me it's about 10% every half hr while fitness tracking and listening to music at the same time.

I haven't used it but from what I gather it's just a tap of the screen to order. Your watch will then keep you updated how far the driver is away etc

I disagree with your comment about the Apple watch and think the gear s3 looks much better. I agree that the frontier looks better than the classic though. I would say to anyone don't buy a smart watch if you don't know what you will use it for. For me it's music controls, fitness tracking...

I have never conditioned my battery on any device I have ever owned and never had a problem. Many of the things you should supposedly do are myths, just enjoy your watch and don't worry about the battery
