I agree with the rec for Airdoid. It works fast and has a slick UI. You sign in with the phone's camera reading a bar code on your computer. The songs that transfer to the Note 3 have to be in the MP3 format

Thank you for your quick reply. I do have that one on my Note 3. It is nice, but despite all its features, it does not appear to be able to skip chapters. Am I correct?

On the Note 3 the stock video player does not play chapters correctly. When a chapter is chosen, it is often times in the middle of the chapter. The same movie in iTunes or my iPad moves correctly from chapter to chapter when individually selected. Is there a video app that will do this correctly?

I believe I found the problem. I stumbled on additional column views in iTunes and found one labeled 'Disc Number'. When I was able to see this information I found that many songs that were out of order on the Note 3 had a different value in this column. Most of the songs in the correct order...
