number 5 I recently got number five back from the repair center, this one has not shutdown and I updated it asap to the 2.2, still have no problems....seems really solid......so far.

I just got a text from Samsung about an update, I have 2.2 all ready. What is this one about, it said there was a server problem and to try again later.

Thanks for the info, my number is 1007. Hope to go to the store and talk to my favorite sales guy, a family friend. The phone will have to be sent in I am sure, at least he knows how to talk to customer service. I just un-installed the battery app that seemed to be doing a good job keeping it...

manufacture date I have the shut down problem, this is the third phone we have had. Where do I find the manufacture date? The imei # is supposed to be ok, but the date I do not see. thanks very much.
