IT WORKED!!! DAMN!! So, to solve the userdata problem (how it went for me) Do the fastboot erase userdata then just let it run for a long time. I figure it might actually take some time to delete stuff, so I would say 5-10 minutes might be good enough. Then do step 8 again once it gets stuck on...

I think I might try to boot it up and see if the OS takes care of it like you said. I am assuming after trying this like 5 times it might have deleted some things, so I will let this run for another 5 or so minutes then stop it. I will post results when I do.
