How do I root?

QUESTION: i just went down this list and disabled them except I stopped at Samsung account. the above comment says; If you truly want to remove them you need to root. I just plan old simple disabled and unchecked the 'show notifications' checkmark.. is this adequate. ??? .

Thank you kindly, I already saw and disabled; i saw they were using data .. and done. AllShare ControlShare Service blurb checkout google play and will be disabling the rest now ... I am new to this all. Thanks again.
