I'm just glad to see I am not the only person who is having this issue. The couple work around that I have mentioned in this thread only work half the time, not all the time. I personally think it has to do with the marshmallow update.. Ya it's very weird, I have been through all the settings...

The only solution that I have found to work is have tab on, plug tab in, restart tab while on charge, once restarted on charge then shut it down. I have tried this a few times and when I do that it seems to stay off when charged. It's an inconvenience but at least it stays off. Wish Samsung &...

I just had another system update yesterday and still no fix for it. Sometimes if I turn it off, plug it in to charge, turn it back on while on the charger then while still on charge turn it off again... sometimes it will stay off. I know it has to have something to do with an update or something...

I am having the same issue, I power down completely, plug tab in to charge, go to bed, then I wake u in the morning and it has turned itself on by itself overnight. It doesn't happen when it's not plugged in, only when on charge. I have tried to duplicate the problem during the day with no luck...
