    Scratches on my screen!!!

The eraser on the S-Pen accessory is also plastic, and I think it causes microscratches, but not the gouges I had. Odd choice though, a cheap and nasty feeling eraser end.

    Scratches on my screen!!!

Hi Chillidog, I've attached a photo from my Galaxy Ace. The scratches are pretty visible in the flash. Number 1 causes a single line colour distortion, like a half-inch long rainbow on the screen, easily ignored in general use but you can make it out easily when you go looking. All the other...

    Scratches on my screen!!!

I have done. I'm waiting for a response. Warranty won't cover accidental damage, only faulty manufacturing, and the screen was perfect when I got it. I doubt the pen caused these marks. It's not causing other scratches. May be able to claim a repair on insurance, but that'll push up premiums and...

    Scratches on my screen!!!

Yeah, I'm using the official Samsung stylus with eraser. I didn't like the eraser feel and was afraid it might mess up the screen, but you kinda trust Samsung not to sell a product that'll tear their screen up! I may glue a bit of felt on the end. But these aren't the sorts of featherline...

    Galaxy note 10.1 HDMI adapter

Yeah, check the TV settings. Some TVs force overscan. There may also be an open to zoom or crop on the Note 10.1 which you can experiment with (there is on my ASUS TF101 with inbuilt HDMI port).

Using a projector from Note 10.1

Using HDMI out, you should get an exact copy of the screen on the projector. I've read that the HML to HDMI adaptor doesn't work properly and has been discontinued for the Note 10.1 (was looking into getting one myself). The AllShare Cast method seems to be Samsung approach now, which would be...

    Scratches on my screen!!!

I used an ASUS TF101 prior to getting my note. At first I was cautious using it teaching as I didn't trust the Gorilla glass to actually resist scratches, but the screen was impervious. I bought a Note 10.1 a couple of weeks ago and have used only the stylus and fingers on it, including the...

Any Android devices have 50 Hz HDMI output?

Hi, Short - Does anyone know of any Android device (preferably very cheap) that supports 50 frames per second output over HDMI in either 720p or 1080p? Being a PAL user, I have encountered a bitter issue with framerates. I want to record a projection in a stage act, and all PAL cameras are...
