first you need to upload the file( com.corner23.android.universalandroot.apk) then download astro file manager. click onto above file and browse. then install it. http://forum.androidcentral.com/sprint-sanyo-zio/42059-how-root-sprint-zio.html i have done it, and it works great.

i rooted my zio today, but don't know what file or program to use to edit programs such as drag racing.:'(
