Happened to me not too long ago after I booted into safe mode. you need to boot into safe mode and reset back to normal and the app drawer should refresh itself that fixed it for me atleast Galaxy S6 edge

Re: Sorting the app drawer and moving icons Don't know if you figured out the second part of your post yet but if you boot into safe mode and restart again the app drawer should go back to normal and not have any gaps. Just happened to me yesterday too haha Posted via the Android Central App
