So far, there don't appear to be any issues for me so far. Battery life may even be better but I feel i'd need to test again. I feel a number of issues I've seen discussed here are to do with minor functional differences but for me there's been no reliability issues, touch wood.

Google Play services has 12 services the rest just 1 or 2. I presume Google play is fine tho?

Have bitten the bullet and updated, mainly because battery drain was so bad before. Seems kind of the same, possibly a little better.

Yes this sounds familiar. It was a problem that only seemed to present itself when traveling. I never did deduce if it was airplane mode or battery save but it was definitely happening when switching on WiFi. The reset as described in the update above definitely seems to have solved it. I have...
