This won't help you at all but I chuck my phone face down all the time with no screen protector, put it in my pocket with coins and keys and generally don't nurse it too much and I don't have a single scratch on the screen or back. Winning or just lucky? Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk 2

I browse a lot, use Facebook a lot, play the odd few games through the day, txt a bit and use voice calls for around 20 mins and I still got enough battery usually to see me through to the next morning (take off charge around 9 am) This is one of the best performance batteries I've had...

Well hopefully it wasn't a mistake buying it and they will fix it, apart from that issue I like this phone a lot more than iPhone.

I get this issue too. Non rooted, standard out the box. When I pull to the left it sometimes won't answer. Pressing the side button doesn't help. It also sometimes won't let me hang up, screen stays blank and the censor is totally uncovered. Glad I'm not the only one, was thinking I was thinking...
