I don't think that you have done anything wrong. It seems to be a battery or a software problem. What I recommend you to do is to get the 4.4.2 firmware(or lollipop) for your S5 and flash it. If the problem still lasts, buy a battery for your phone. It's all I know, wish it helps. Posted via...

Galaxy S5 is quite good, but I recommend you Sony z3. Its bateery life is awesome. The same display of S5, and the same chip of S5. And the other thing is I recommend you to wait a bit and buy the Note 4. That's a great phone. Posted via the Android Central App
