I've noticed this kind of thing too. I think that Best Buy does't update their tablets to the latest software. Just like ours weren't doing the little flicker before the update, theirs wouldn't because it hasn't been updated. I think an update for the Note Pro is about due. Quite a few issues.

Google has released a new update that merges SMS and Hangouts into one thread. It shows Hangouts messages as Green and SMS as the regular white. It also says "via SMS". I prefer Hangouts because it matches with Google's other products. Thanks!
