I have the same issue, but I don't think I'm accidentally pressing the button since I hold the stylus slightly closer to the nib.

My professor gives us the lecture notes as a PowerPoint, which I export as a PDF and download to S Note. I took notes on the PDF without any issues in my lecture, then saved the notes and put the tablet away. When I checked the notes 10 minutes later, S Note won't let me open the notebook...
