You really don't need to back up anything. I just wiped, installed, and my desktop was exactly the same. Even asked if I wanted to install all the same apps that I had previously installed.

I will have to persevere with my Optimus that much longer. Wish I could forget the One exists until it launches. Now I'm going to be checking for a release date everyday until it does. :'(

I've been using my Optimus S for the last two years and I CANNOT wait to upgrade. Sweet jesus, release this phone already! :mad:
