Auto Correct (Auto text) in HandCent

UPDATE... the auto correct/text options above only work with the physical keyboard. :-(

Using HandCent (almost) Seamlessly with Touchwiz

Yes, you just set the notification sound within the Handcent notification settings. It works like a charm.

Auto Correct (Auto text) in HandCent

There are separate settings for each keyboard in the settings menu. Swype, Android and Physical keyboards each have their own settings for those things.

    Battery widget

Here is a thread from the XDA forums... it is over my head for now but the modded battery indicator is sweet... [MOD][9th-Sept] Super Circle Battery with % |Version A-G & Z (Custom)| Desire 2.2 ROM - xda-developers

    Battery widget

+1 I am using the free Battery Status version and just get the % in the notification bar with multiple display options. I have used a number of the widgets and they are fine but this one doesn't take up space on any of my screens and is visible no matter what screen or app I'm in.

Auto Correct (Auto text) in HandCent

I had seen variations on this topic posted in a few places and I had asked the question myself and got/found no answers until now.... In Handcent settings/application settings/auto text setting/ you can add your own replacements to the list. Customize it any way you like.. I did three for the...

Using HandCent (almost) Seamlessly with Touchwiz

I am using Handcent and personally like the popups. I can either close or reply to the txt and it automatically clears the notification. I also turned off notifications in the default text app and left them on in Handcent. The other thing I did to get a seamless feel is to install Launcher Pro...

Official Build Date and Quality Thread

This is my second Epic. The first was picked up at Sam's Club on 8/31 and replaced at Sam's Club on 9/1. The first was replaced for non-responsive capacitive buttons (back and home were severe). It would take 2-10 touches to register. 10/8 phone 10/8 battery Only issue I am having is maybe...

Epic mounts even when I chose just charging mode

Hmmm, I have a Windows 7 laptop and mine doesn't do this.

Widget containing digital clock and weather?

Don't be a cheapskate ... it isn't that expensive (none of the paid apps are really). It works and looks great.

Epic mounts even when I chose just charging mode

Are you using the USB cable that came with your phone? I have had an interesting thing where a non-stock USB cable brings up the three options when plugged into a car or wall charger. If I am using the stock cable and am not plugged into a PC it simply just starts charging. So it may be a...

Vote for your favorite launcher here

Of course the Epic came with TouchWiz and I hated it's appearance, especially the awful pink of the Friendstream widget. So I took the plunge and went with Launcher Pro Plus. Since I haven't tried the others I don't have anything to compare it to. But I do like the customizable scrolling...

    Car Mount?

I used a stripped down Bracketron mount (no arm brackets or foam pad) that I had my TouchStone mounted to previously. I just used some auto trim doublestick adhesive on the back of the dock to attach to the flat Bracketron mount. I made sure to leave the USB and sound port exposed to one side...

Palm webOS Homebrewer's Guide to Android

How about browser multimod to to give option of streaming or downloading streamed content?

    Auto correcting

No, I want it to auto complete u = you or r = are like WebOS does. Adding "u" and "r" in the user defirned dictionary doesn't do this obviously.
