Trusted places is a Google feature and not Samsung. It seems like its a problem with Google Play Services since this issue also affect the Google Pixel and a host of other Android devices.

So the WIFI version in the US doesn't have Marshmallow yet? Strange since the updated version of the Tab S2 is shipping with Marshmallow. I wonder what the holdup is?

Samsung has released an updated Tab S2 that is shipping with Marshmallow which is odd since the original Tab S2 doesn't have it yet with a few exceptions. Since they just refreshed the Tab S2 with new processor it makes me wonder if they are going to release a Tab S3.

I am wanting to replace my Nexus 7 and am looking at the Tab S2 8". Do you think there will be a Tab S3 released in the near future even though they just released an updated Tab S2 (SM-T713). Amazon has the new Tab S2 for $299 and its ships with 6.0.1. Thanks.

For the Sprint S5 its definitely worth it. My phone is so much better especially since Sprint skipped the 5.1 update. My phone runs a lot smoother and has better battery life than with lollipop.

Samsung took out to UI for enabling adoptable storage, but it can be done using adb just like on the S7. Search "Here's how to configure adoptable storage on your S7 / S7 Edge" and the first link is the modaco site with instructions on how to do it.

So far no big changes visually other than new icons. April security update. Smart Manager is new, but I think other S5 variants had it before. New version of the Sprint voicemail app. New shutdown/start up splash screens and sound. Have to use password after rebooting now, can't use...

I suggest going to Settings-Application Manager and then All. Find download manager and clear the cache. I do this periodically since it can grow quite large. I just checked and the cache was 256MB. I have seen it as large as 1GB before! I really don't know what this does other than take up...

Has anyone with two phones where only one is having the issue tried swapping the sim card trays to see if it makes a difference?

The security update that was sent out originally was flawed. All Sprint S5s are still vulnerable to the stage fright exploit as just verified by the stage fright detector from zimperium. Looks like Samsung has failed before it even started by promising monthly security updates. It doesn't...
