    Re: Help! The phone was dropped and landed face down and when i picked it up and tried to use all i had was a black screen... besides that nothing out of the ordinary i believe there was an update that was trying to be installed at the time

    Help! Galaxy S3 screen stays blank.

    I have a Galaxy S3 and the screen is black. The lights still light up the volume still works, I can hear the swipe to unlock the phone but all I get is a black screen. Does anyone have any ideas on what is wrong and/or how to fix it?
