this happened to me, how many times did you hit the activate button? i had to hit it like 4 times before my internet came back

It just wont install. And I remember not being able to get a 2.3 activate app to work on aosp, most likely because the phone is originally programmed with 2.2 so VM wont recognize it as 2.3.

When using a stock VM ROM or the BumbleBee ROM, the home key will not work on my phone, even after using the key debugging feature in the recovery menus. The home key DOES work while using aosp. Has anyone else had this issue or know how to fix it? thanks in advance

You can save yourself the trouble of changing the code yourself and just download from xda I think this has been posted before. This is just convenient for someone new navigating to this page. I also don't have that green bar everyone is talking about and I'm running the latest version of aosp

i tried it on a stock rom, bumblebee, and aosp and data wont work on any of em. The lack of gps is really the only major issue, but who knows maybe it'll work itself out like the activation did

No I'm on aosp. And nothing requiring data will work over 3g. Only over wifi. Should I just try to reflash the rom?

So for some reason the phone activated itself overnight so now I dont have to call vm or anything! although for some reason the market wont work while using the 3g network. It works when I use wifi though

I was able to flash to bumblebee and start the activate app. it shows a loading screen that looks like this Hold on while we connect to the network... 1...2...3... with the one highlited in white and 2 and 3 highlited in red eventually 2 will get highlited in white but when 3 gets highlited...

I had switched phones because I couldn't use the optimus, how do I switch it back? the activate app on the phone is gone and when I go online to swap it, it says theres an error when I type in the ESN/MEID I thought the trouble was over =(

in step c) the file you had me download is a zip file. should i put .zip at the end instead of .img when i try typing it with .img at the end command prompt tells me that directory doesn't exist
