Simply put, no. I have been using one for 5 days now with no such issues. Your mileage may vary. I've been very impressed with it and is probably the best value phone out right now - I paid just £216. Direct competition at the price point like the Moto G6 just pale in comparison.

No issues beyond a slight stutter when changing wallpaper (which I do a lot). Based on my observations, battery life is slightly better too. Happy with the update.

I am using a Fitbag corderoy slip case. I always get one of these for any phone I own as I like to use my devices as intended. The micro fibre lining keeps the phone smudge free.

I walked into a local Argos this afternoon and picked one up. Just finished the setup and initial impressions are great. Excellent build quality and the 660 CPU flies compared to previous 6 series devices I've owned. Feels very similar to my Pixel 2XL but half the price!

You can now pick these up for £299 at Argos in the UK. Compared to similar priced mid-range (lower spec) models this is excellent value. Just picked one up and happy with my purchase.

I am seeing the same. Overall battery life has not changed for me (still hitting the same 50% left by bed time) on the same usage pattern but the drop to 99% seems to take less time than before.

I bought the little one in the first week of December and it's big brother 3 weeks later. I love them both. I do find the smaller version more 'snappy' than it's bigger brother (which is lighting quick) and battery life is similar in my usage pattern.

I've had mine for 3 weeks now and it's hands down the best phone I have or have used. The speed and smoothness still blows me away and the camera is unbelievable. I have a stable of devices which I often rotate but this one is getting almost exclusively attention since day 1.

Yup, I dropped my 2 taking it out of it's Spigen case to clear some dust around the lens. Landed on my (tiled) kitchen floor from waist height and broke the rear glass. I'm now thinking of sending it to SBE for a repair (£165 - ouch!). Has anyone used them and can vouch for them?

No, it's not. Just bought one (for 279 at Carphone Warehouse). It's Moto software rather than the totally pure Android one software. Excellent phone for the money now!

I downloaded it this morning and have nothing to report yet. Running great on mine. Love the new lighter settings interface. Love it!
