Hokay, I've made some progress. With my new OTG adapter these guys can connect, kinda sorta. How do ya enable USB permission? Apparently it needs to be on, but I cain't find it...on my android 5.1.1

I'd like to be able to hooker these up, but it's been no go. The Garmin USB interface cable works AOK into the desktop puter. Same for the Samsung USB 3.0 cable. What's my prob here? I've tried to connect em with a lil ebay gizmo... USB 2.0 A Female to USB A Female Coupler Connector Adapter USB...

Thanks for getting this info out. I jest sent everything from my Galaxy S5 to my puter via usb & windoze copy. Is that a usable backup...or a waste of ~20 min?

Alrighty then, figgered it out afta lotsa fiddle-faddle. Uninstalled, then reinstalled the updates...the fugly stuff is gone...yay!

Most messages (but not all of em) start out with... Cannot read media. Make sure that USB Storage is turned off. ...followed by the message. WTF does that mean? And how can I git rid of it? It has 5.1.1 & 64gb sd card, mostly works normal. Thanks...
