I have a similar problem on the Samsung Galaxy A5 (2016). I tried resetting and clearing etc, etc. The contact emails come back within 24 hours. :(:-* I agree that the only solution is to install the Google keyboard. It allows you to include or exclude contacts as suggestions.:cool:
