It was the big widget on the home page I got rid of, the one that shows your books, movies etc, I just access the play store from the play store app for some reason this widget kept my device awake and my battery was going down by around 10%/hour, whether I used it or not

my battery is now excellant since I removed the Google Play widget (was causing a lot of drain) I now get about 8hrs usage/3 days standby, whichever comes first
