I solved this problem by... 1. Clearing the app's memory and cache, then killing the app. 2. Turning off the Wifi and mobile data. 3. Re-starting the app. The app started immediately, but warned that it was offline. Once I turned mobile data and wifi back on, everything has worked fine since.

I have an HTC One M8 and every time I plug it into my Macbook Pro, it mounts the HTC Sync Manager installer (which is old and invalid for my Mac) as a CD-ROM. I want to STOP THIS FROM HAPPENING! but I can't figure out how. I have Googled to the best of my ability and all I can find is people who...
