Did you ever resolve your GPS issue? I have the same exact scenario i.e., certified new At&T Samsung Note 3, using Cricket Wireless, KitKat 4.4.2, GPS worked fine in the beginning then degraded. Takes forever to GPS lock, if it does. Only way to make it lock a little quicker is to use GPS...
