    I have Verizon FIOS. I tried the settings in the link but they didn't work.

    Hi, I'm new to the Android world and I guess that I needed to create an account in order to reply . Unfortunately I have Verizon/Yahoo email and it doesn't support IMAP, so I guess for the time being I'll need to delete emails in two places.
