What's dalvik cache, how is that different from just plain old cache. And... if not switching ROM's is there a good reason to periodically clear your cache? Does it improve performance?

Just an fyi guys. Have had persistent data drop and LTE signal issues, went through several sim cards and 2 phones and last week finally called vzw and just demanded a RAZR as a replacement. The rep told me "that's not gonna happen," but asked his supervisor, and all of a sudden it was done...

Another possibility... I was on my 3rd bionic, kept having trouble holding an lte signal. Called Verizon and demanded a razr instead of another bionic. And I'm holding it now. Worlds of difference!! I'm not knocking the bionic, i liked that phone, and greatly appreciated this community...
