I use Hangouts for SMS and IM, and I use gmail, etc. When I have new mail, or FB messages, or anything, i do not see any notification light.

For the Google keyboard, there is no long press option for symbols. I get that you can swipe from the symbol character to a symbol, but I just prefer the long press.

I have the VRAMC3 radio. Today was unbearable. In a 90 minute boring presentation and 3 bars 4g and could barely load anything to take my mind off the drudgery :P

The app Out of Milk is great for keeping track of my pantry and putting together a shopping list. However, there are some great apps that allow a user to import a pantry and view recipes, like GoJee. Is there any app that combines these functions WELL?

I do have my phone rooted - is there a recommendation of something to flash to help? I gave up right now - my signal says 4G, 3 bars, and every single request was timing out.

I am on my second device, the device is rooted/unlocked but no custom roms or anything. I very rarely get more than 5Mbps, but more often than not I get less than 1. This is in Midtown and Upper West Side. Has anyone else had this problem?

When looking at the map, it overlays almost all of Manhattan in purple, and when I click on my location, it says LTE 4 bars.

Looks like a cool app. The problem with it is that it keeps trying to use the GPS, and the GPS is always saying "Searching" - it says searching when using Maps but still finds my location. With Sensorly, it just stays at 0/25 satellites.

My speeds range from 0.2 - 2 Mbps. One test I even got 5, though I have never been able to replicate. My dbm value fluctuates between -115 to -80, but is still ridiculously slow. They even replaced my device when I complained. Has anyone noticed speeds like this? Could it be a SIM card...

It worked without it thankfully :) Used the I605_VRALJB_Restore.tar file and then used Casual Back Atcha to get back root and bootloader

When trying on a new stock Windows VM, I am able to get a connection! Now the question is how to fix. I have two files, I605_VRALJB_Restore.tar and CI605_I605VRLJB_I605VRALJB_CL414933_HWID04_HW_Rev0406_low_ship_user.tar. Would either work?
