Almost 1 year latter and I am still looking for a solution. This happen with any app that work like a gallery. ES Explorer and Google Photos also are affected. I think this a option of Asus.

I use ES Explorer, I choose "Create New / file" and name it ".nomedia". I also tried to copy other ".nomedia" files already in the mobile.

If you put a ".nomedia" file in a folder, to make not appear in the Galery, the folder is not visible, just until it get any now image. For exemple, try to put a ".nomedia" file in "Screenshots folder" and them take a new screenshot. The new one will be visible on galery and the all the...
