I have not ever owned a Samsung phone. With HTC and LG I was able to figure out how to root based on guides posted on XDA. Is the Galaxy s6 more difficult to root? Because of locked bootloaders?

I was trying to use tether (the app named "tether") on my One, unrooted. Tether just keeps saying "waiting for connection over USB" even when the phone is plugged in (and is USB debug mode). Is this something with sprint blocking tether? I thought I had used it in the past without a root.

I really haven't seen any difference in Wifi or battery life after the update. Then again I don't consider myself a power user. I usually have more than enough battery to get through and get to bed with about 40 percent left. Sent from my HTCONE using Tapatalk now Free

Just got another one - hot battery warning 83.1 degrees F.

I'm wondering about heat too. Seems GSAM is set up to give a "hot battery" warning at 90f and 120f. My ONE reaches 90f just sitting in my pocket in areas where cell reception is poor. 90f isn't that high is it?
