i kind of have the same problem as well, mwalker. However noone has really responded to my post. My problem is a little different though...my apps and widgets take FOREVER to load >.<. i used to have the text messaging problem with 2.1 but now it seems to be rectified.

yeah, isn't it so inconvenient?! i didn't have that when i was running 2.1 though...it was only when i had to open txt messages. Now that issue is rectified and i have another *sigh* after holding off for so long with this software update i kind of expected this to be the best software update...

yeah...i have the same issues as well!! Sometimes when i'm on an app and want to return to my home screens, it hangs and all i see is my wallpaper. I have to wait for about 5-10 seconds before my apps show up. I already did a factory reset which to my surprise doesn't remove root...so yes I'm...
