No you do not need ROM Manager, you use the atrix2 bootstrapper instead. Unfortunately there is not an official version for the Atrix 2 yet, I am hoping we get one in the near future. As soon as XDA is back online, just check the development thread and you will find it and everything you need...

I have been running it since version 1 and it is a very smooth running ROM. Version 4 is worth trying out.

I did not flash a GSM RUU, I flashed the RUU for Virgin Mobile, check my post above and you will see the link.

Oh I love using Linux, I dual boot Windows 7 and Ubuntu, I will give them a shot.

I got it figured out, all setup now and I made sure and did a nandroid and put a copy of it on my computer for an extra backup...hehe...I want to make sure I have a copy somewhere other than the sd card.

That would have saved me a trip to Best Buy, LOL. But yeah that does sound like a good idea. I was able to get everything setup, even the .PRL, so i am all good to go. Everything works as you have it written.

My new phone is S-Off, Custom Recovery installed and rooted....ready to try this PRL thing again.
