Yeah, doesn't make sense to me either, but it didn't work until I switched that option. And I did restart multiple times at least 5 mins after updating before trying this.

I hope this helps others, I started looking in the different Mobile Network Settings and saw that my phone was set to "Global" for preferred network type. After some google searches I switched it to LTE/CDMA and restarted. Simultaneous voice+internet now working. Here is another improvement...

Got this message when I tried to make a call again.

I did the update and activated HD voice in the settings but internet is still cutting out when I make a call while on 4G. Is this supposed to be working anywhere 4G is up? I am in the NY metro area so I usually have solid connections.

Anyone else having issues installing the driver for the Turbo? I tried to locate online but couldn't find one either. Installing Motorola's software didn't help either. This is on a Windows 7 machine.
