I have otterbox defender series and have the same issue with the power button. I have also noticed as of late that sometimes i will lock my phone and it will lock then all of a sudden the unlock screen will come on.

I had this problem a few weeks ago. I took it to Verizon and they said it was 'because its a computer they act up after a while and need to be reset'. So I did a factory reset and it seems to have worked. I would say try to see if you can get around the factory reset cause it is a huge pain...

I had problems with that market version. I ended up going an downloading 3.4.4 an i havent had any problems with it

I know this question has been asked about a million times but we will get sense 3.0? I read that only dual core phones will get it but my girlfriend picked up the new HTC rhyme today and it is only a single core processor. Maybe there is hope for us after all.

That notification is because you haven't actually signed out of skype, you just simply closed the screen... open up skype again and hit the menu button, then click log-off. That should solve your problem
