I have the paid version, I think it's definitely better than stock although I also think that it's basically a weak version of HTC's Sense UI and wish I had that instead. There's one or two of the Motorola widgets that I kind of miss (I like their wifi/blutooth/etc buttons) and you give those up...

My new Droid Pro seems to run pretty hot whenever I do anything. Even with the screen off, it's still got appreciable warmth coming out the back towards the top of the phone. Has anyone else noticed this with their phones or am I rocking a defective phone?

You're looking for something that's a feature on HTC phones only. I also wish they had a nice email widget but unfortunately Motoblur kinda stinks. If you want to spend money to get it, you can get Launcherpro Plus for a few bucks and get a very similar layout to HTC's proprietary Android skin...

The older ipods have the capability to do video-out through the headphone jack by virture of a trrs connector. That second "r" is variously used for different things such as video, volume controls, and other functions. But one of the above posters is probably right that it's much more likely...

Does the Droid Pro support video out like many other phones through the headphone jack? Can anyone who owns the thing definitively confirm this? I'm about to order one through my employer but would really like to know before I do because I can't return it. Thanks.
