If true this is extremely disappointing news, coupled with the very slow security updates. I'm still on August patch, my wife has a 2 year old P8 lite and seems to get regular updates and has December patch downloaded. I'm expecting January any day. I don't think I will be getting another Honor...

Hi guys. Looking at the information I've seen Android version 8 (Oreo) will be released on Honour as EMUI 6.0 and is already its Beta form on the Honour 9. I also think it will make it to the Honour 8 early next year

It's still early days, I would say on par with Marshmallow at the moment. My battery life to a big hit with nougat until now

I'm in the UK, received 389 update yesterday. Not noticed to much apart from battery life is much better and comes with May security patch

I'm on the UK build and I have to say (to my surprise) everything is great considering we're only a day in and very smooth. No bugs to report yet!!!
