I just removed the a RAM manager (Clean Master) from my Verizon S4 and now for the first time in a week since I updated to 4.4.2 my phone is not hot to the touch. It has to be something to do with the bloatware Samsung and/or Verizon added to the update because my Nexus 7 with 4.4.2 works great...
