The headphone jack has to be pushed ** ALL THE WAY IN **, (push HARDER than you would think is prudent, until there is a FIRM CLICK. i.e. so that NONE of the metal part of the headphone jack is showing. This worked for me. What a relief....I've got my music back. :) - Phil

THAT'S IT !!!! Thanks, so much, to the poster who said the headphone jack needs to be pushed in HARDER (and further) than you expect. / Until the jack is **fully** in, and **none** of the metal part of the headphone jack is showing. That is the fix. My headphones now work... I'm all better...
