The processor is not the same. The new processor is a Texas Instruments 1Ghz dual core. No longer Tegra 2. I think the Tegra 2 is what lead to all the complaints of the device heating up. I know when I played the Tegra 2 games my phone got really hot!

Tried plugging it in to her pc, but the HTC Sense software wouldn't even work. No drivers. I got the software off of HTC's website with the drivers, but it still doesnt work. Even switch USB modes on the phone to disk drive still didnt work.

My wife has been having problems with here Inspire ever since updating to GB. She keeps losing photos that she has taken with her phones camera. Usually a quick re-boot will bring them back, but that doesnt always work. Anyone else having the same issue? Sorry if this has been asked already on...

UPDATE...My wife just checked for update on her Inspire...and the update is now there. I asked her to report back after she's done installing. NW Florida! UPDATE #2 She has Gingerbread installed OTA. Only thing she had to do was re-check "unknown sources" and re-install Swype. Awaiting further...

Nothing yet...checked this morning..and again after work..rebooted phone...nothing. NW Florida.

I pulled the battery after getting stuck on the black screen. That fixed it. Gingerbread is running great. Still no 1080p recording. Other than that its AWESOME!!!! It is like a new phone!! Thank you Motorola! I like how when you lock the phone it looks like it turns off. Unknown Sources...

My phone is stuck on a black screen. I was plugged in to my computer for the battery. Downloaded the update. Installed the update. The phone rebooted and I unplugged it. Now black screen. Going on 5 min now. Hmmmmmmmmm
