I'm honestly not sure if there are any more Altell stores in my area. The three I knew about are all now VZW stores. :-/

I wont be buying it unless I'm ~99% sure it will work with VZW. Though being near the end of my contract, might consider just "switching" to Altell if the price is about the same (I asume it will be).

I tried out Twidroid for a day, but got a refund because Seesmic did everything I wanted it to do and a bit more and was free. So I cast my vote for Seesmic.

If I did that I wouldn't be able to receive phone calls. Sure, that would be a temporary work arround, but not an ultimate solution.

When I have my Droid plugged into my computer and the SD card mounted, if I receive an IM the card will be instantly dismounted and any file transfers that were going on are interrupted. Is there a way to disable the interruption of file transfers and/or prevent the card from dismounting all...

Profiles did not seem to work quite right. I was able to remove all notification sounds, but couldn't get the ringer to sound then. I'm now trying Quick Profiles to see if it will do what I'm looking for.

Trying out the Profiles app suggested by prometheus. So far seems to be what I'm looking for.
