Got mine to work. It's a crappy routine, but somehow it works, it must be some kind of bug. Each time I connect to said router with the usual symptoms (Wifi connected, no internet access) wi-fi setting, > Advanced > disable "best Wifi performance" >back > Advanced Wi-fi settings > Enable...
