messaging is the only thing i'm missing. i still haven't found a decent IM program and every time i open handcent SMS i think of how nice it'd be for everything to be integrated into that

The first thing I noticed using astro was that it just gives an error for extensionless files where root explorer asks you what app to use to open it. That's a big deal for me Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk

I'm using Root Explorer and it's pretty nice. On the pre i really missed having a file manager. That wifi tethering for root is slick too.

their steps also turned me on to tAttachApkInstaller which allows you to install APK files via email attachments. way less trouble than putting on an SD card and using some other tool to install it or using command line

I found shootme yesterday, i forgot to turn it off and while walking all i hear is "*snap*, *snap*, *snap*" as it takes a bunch of black pictures. Very nice app though, way better than using the SDK

I tried dolphin and skyfire. I don't see a ton of difference in how pages are rendered so I've been using the stock browser. It's not quite as nice as the iPhone or pre browsers but it does the job. Nobody has found a browser that handles double taps like safari and pre browsers do have they...
