Yes, that is very true. Verizon sales people don't make any money on a customer who buys a phone outright. They make their money on getting a customer to upgrade.

I've heard about this happening to others so I'm glad its not just my phone. Recently, a small blue spot has shown near the middle of the screen. If I take the Verizon case off and restart the phone the spot fades away (can still slightly be seen, but not as bad), and when the case goes back on...

I had the same issue last week. I restarted the phone and it was fine. Then it happened the next day and I restarted and it was fine. hasn't done it this week, but kind of annoying.
