    Very true. That’s me! Point, shoot, pretty darned good pic. Pretty darned good everything else. Specialty? Get the device that excels in that specialty. That gives people a variety of choice to pick which is most important to them.

    Totally understand. Pixel means (to me) bare bones with the most raw of experiences. Not to say they don’t have advanced features but the highest of those are generally going to be from some other manufacturer.

    Need android phone less than $300

    Google takes trade ins also so don’t forget that. I traded in my iPhone 13 mini for a Pixel 7a. Cut the price down considerably.

    I don’t like or dislike Samsung. To me it’s just, if I’m going to use Android I’m going to use Android. Adding another layer complicates things. Then there’s Google apps, Samsung apps, etc. all on one phone. I’m a simple guy.

    New Pixel 7a is really the perfect size for me. I don’t need a giant phone but need something large enough I can read it.
